hello, lamppost
Mar. 3rd, 2009 01:27 pmI feel really good today. Slept for shit last night, woke up all ouchy and cranky, spent some time waking up, had morning cuddles (wink, wink, nudge nudge, knowwhatImean), went and practiced reading for the Bar exam, ate mediocre banh mi, and came to work. After all that, I feel remarkably well. I think the long naps are helping (I seem to sleep better in short bursts because my back doesn't get as painful when I don't lie down for as long), and I just think maybe this hypo thing isn't hitting me as hard as I was afraid it would.
Not that I'll be surprised if it gets worse, but so far, it's manageable, and today it's really not an issue so far.
Yay!

Date: 2009-03-04 04:00 am (UTC)What a good idea those short naps might be for you - have you considered having several shorter sleep-times instead of one long one after you're done with this process?
I'll have to remember that one.
Glad you had a good day. I hope it's an indication of what the next several weeks will be like.

Date: 2009-03-04 04:03 am (UTC)And thanks! I've thought about the staggered-sleep thing, and it makes sense on some levels and not on others (someone sleeps in our living room, for instance). What I'd REALLY like is for my doctor to help me figure out what's whacked out with my back.
