accessiblehouse by auctioning off things of value to help this couple stay in their home, which is about to be foreclosed on (it's been modified so that the woman with a disability who lives there can continue to live and thrive in her own home). I don't know the couple, but I thought I'd jump in and offer what help I can. I'm auctioning off a lifetime subscription to the magazine, at http://community.livejournal.com/accessiblehouse/6531.html -- if you were thinking of getting one, they're only available until summer, and they're $100, but the auction price starts at $5. Give it a look, and look at all the other keen stuff there.
