The ADA is a piece of legislation, not a body of humans, but yes, I hope that the appropriate governmental agencies kick this guy's metaphorical ass, and institute some proper training.
I was attending Busch Gardens with a dear dear friend and I was pushing her wheelchair. I saw something interesting in a shop, asked her if she minded waiting there for a minute, parked her chair and started heading into the store. She hollered back at me "But I want to see, too!!" I immediately stopped, went back, apologized and thanked her for not letting me treat her like she was a piece of furniture just because she was in a wheelchair. I was absolutely mortified with myself. This security idiot needs a smack with a Clue-By-Four[tm].
