I'm having such a keen awareness today of how good my life is. There's stuff that makes it *hard*, but hard is not equal to bad. For the most part, I make my choices with autonomy, and the people I love, who love me, respect and honor those choices. I have enough money for food and rent and little luxuries. I am surrounded by people who want to make the world better, and who do substantive things in that direction all the time.

My art thrives; my family (mostly) thrives; my work is pleasant and meaningful.

I am a lucky, lucky person.
