dbubley's leg is broken in several places, including her femur! She is having surgery this afternoon. She's not in the best of health to begin with (Serene Vannoy, Master of the Understatement). Worried.

In an hour, I'm hauling myself off my hermitty ass to take james_huber to the oral surgeon. They may have to put him under, and if they do, I'll have to get him home.

The winter is making me feel like staying home under the covers for a week, but I can't. It's okay, I'll cope, but as I've been saying this week, I'm eager for this stuff to let up for a while.

we're still waiting for them to take Betty to the OR. If James needs a ride home call me. Guy and I are just hanging around. We'll probably go out for food as soon as they take her away.
