sereneDo you guys think it's fair that a totally mild cold that didn't even make me miss work now appears to have turned into a sinus infection or something similar? I don't! It's not fair, right? Back me up on this.
In less whiny news, still loving The Best Job Ever; trying to figure out move logistics with my mom; and made really good dinner tonight even though I was all Ow ow sinuses ow!
Dinner was a stir-fry of steak, shiitakes, onions, carrots, scallions, fresh water chestnuts, cabbage, choy of some sort, green beans, snow peas, and asparagus, in a sauce of garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and Thai sweet chili sauce.
And bacon fried rice. Frighteningly good.

Date: 2011-02-16 10:28 am (UTC)I went through a ten year period where almost every cold or flu that I got turned into bronchitis. That felt pretty unfair at the time, but in retrospect it was probably just payback for my rather adversarial relationship with fruits and veggies. About six years ago I upped my vitamin C intake and it hasn't happened since.
