In Great Detail, Day 17

sereneFeeling pretty self-involved today, so what better way to pass the time than to post to the In Great Detail thing. I believe I left off at #16.
Day 17: Your favourite memory, in great detail
My brain doesn't work in quite the way that would let it pick one memory as favorite, but I do have some favorites I can think of:
Riding my bike as a child, especially down hills
Walking on my dad's shoes
My second kiss withjames_huber
Scaring myself silly by going on the scariest rollercoaster ever for my birthday a few years back
Swimming wayyyyy out in the ocean, where there are no breakers any more and everything is soooooo quiet
Driving along the day I sold my first poem, so happy I was fairly bursting
Day 18: Your favourite birthday, in great detail
It's a toss-up. 10 was good; my friends, the Officers' Club, a DJ, and all the Shirley Temples we could drink. Also 36, when 28 Wombabes came to hang out with me in San Diego. And then 42? 43? was super-fantastic: my family threw me a great party. Wanna see?

Date: 2011-06-19 10:58 pm (UTC)I'm not having a birthday this year (too much other stuff to organise e.g. moving house), which is a bit of a shame since I'll be 36 and that's a number with so many possibilities.
