We can't install things on our work computers, and LJ is often on the restricted list, so webposting isn't a good option for me. So what I've done is to install this client to a floppy disk. Hope it works. Cross your fingers.

For some reason, the page isn't restricted today. Most days, it is. Go figure.

Some folks just do entries in notepad all day, then save that to a floppy and bring it home to paste in chunks into LJ.
