sereneHome sick and catching up on social media, etc., between bouts of mindless gameplaying. A few observations:
1) One of the best things about living with a geek is that when you finally pull yourself into the present and get your first cable box, your geek is all excited and sets it up for fun, leaving you to just enjoy the fruits of the work
2) Another best thing? Watching your geek have conniptions of joy when zir glow-in-the-dark vinyl Halloween album arrives in the mail
3) These are the days when my fairly new habit of putting lots of easy-to-reheat food in the fridge and freezer pays off; in no mood to cook or do dishes? microwave a burrito and eat a bunch of banchan as snacks
4) My first midterm as a university student is tomorrow. I'm inordinately excited
