sereneOr something. My bosses are listening; they're circling the wagons and finding ways to relieve my overwork and stress, and they're forbidding me from working late or taking on tasks that shouldn't be my responsibility.

I've read somewhere that this is true of a lot of people, that making a list (written or just in your head) internally achieves checking off everything on the list as if it had been done, rather than just organized into a list.
