Spring!

My mom loved to say Spring is sprung, the grass is riz. I wonder where the flowers is?

Pretty sure she was quoting a song or poem or something, but it will always be hers to me.

Equinox was a few minutes ago as I'm writing this. I made eggs and spinach and potatoes for breakfast, and I may do nothing else all day. Or I may tackle my list.

• Maybe make lasagna with the rest of the spinach and the fresh mozzarella


• Move the seed tray to the bedroom where it's warmer and more humid


• Put bulbs in the holes where the bottles used to be and cover them with soil


• Hang the hummingbird feeder properly and fill it


• Flat surface patrol

My dad wants some help with his website at 1. Other than that, if I don't want to do anything today, I don't gotta. I can just relax, try to figure out today's Semantle, and take the day as she comes.

When I googled it, it seemed it was always birdies (or boidies) and not flowers, but that's the way my mom always said it.

My dad and his siblings also said "flowers." I used to think my grandmother made up the lines; but then, I thought she wrote "Froggie Went A-Courting" too.

You were just on my "Suggested people" list on fb, and I watched the tour of your house. I've been wanting to get those vertical spice racks for myself for a while now. Other things keep taking priority for funding. That's a lovely house!

Thanks! The spice racks are not cheap, but they're working out really well. (For us, it was cheaper than replacing the existing cabinets.)

I looked around to see if I could source parts, but the sliders are the most expensive bit and then trying to DIY the rest didn't make sense. My dad and sister are woodworkers and have saws that could cut the plexi too. I may eventually splurge, as I'm also shifting over to buying most of my spices from Penzeys
