Couldn't sleep last night. No, not at all. I blame a combination of stress and caffeine, but I am vowing before this company that I am not going to let my tiredness become the kid's problem. It's not her fault I couldn't sleep, and she's got enough to worry about with the doctor thing today. She doesn't need my being impaired by sleep deprivation on top of it. So okay. Game face, and all that.

(And I have to wake her at 7am, which to this kid may as well be the middle of the freaking night.)
