And you could send her email, because I know she's mentioned lots of craft-related stuff over the years, and I'll bet even if there aren't any communities on her friends list, she'd give you some links and stuff.
I'm not on any communities, at the moment. Still very new to LJ, and working out what I'm doing here. Haven't quite got the grip of comments. Or friends, even.
hfnuala recommended a knitting community to me, which I intend on checking out at some point.
I used work's Sony and put the pieces on a black plastic inbox tray. I was pleased with the quality, but the light's wrong. Really, dear pig, I cannot thank you enough, and I almost cried again when I had to take it off to go to bed. Cute-poet-chick is touched, too, and is making you the most delightful thank-you gift.
That is an awesome gift, and yes, she does rock. I have an earworm now -- she was so kind as to send me a copy of the Buffy musical when mine went missing.
