Date: 2003-04-08 02:01 am (UTC)I hate to nitpick - but isn't this list supposed to be about qualities you have? Maybe "I attract remarkable people" would be more about you, but #5 sounds more like it's about them and not about you.
Even better "I am attractive to remarkable people" ?
Just sayin'.

Date: 2003-04-08 06:14 am (UTC)No. It's positive things about me, and the fact that people like me is a positive thing about me. At least, in my brain on the 5th of April it was, so there it shall stand. :-)

Date: 2003-04-08 02:10 pm (UTC)Maybe this one struck a chord with me because of my own tendencies. I have a tendency to define myself by the people around me. I have a hard time talking about how I feel without bringing other people into it. I have trouble making "I statements". I'm trying really hard to break this habit, so of course I noticed it on your list.
Of course if you don't have this habit then it's not a problem for you. :)
I think it's a very positive thing about you that you have remarkable people in your life, and I think it's a very positive thing that you attract such remarkable people.
But then, I think you rock anyhow. :)

Date: 2003-04-08 02:25 pm (UTC)They are much more than kind words. I really do think you are an amazing person.
You are one of those people who sticks in my head, all of the time.
Your devotion to c-p-c and your willingness to get through the hard times to get to the good inspires me to do the same.
You are incredibly intelligent and insightful, and you are not afraid to call it like you see it.
I remember the first time I read one of your poems. The one about the little girl picking up roses on the beach. It stays with me always.
And on top of everything else, I think you're beautiful.
In fact, for a time, I might have said I had a bit of a crush.
I know you have a number of people in your life to tell you how amazing you are, but if you ever find yourself needing that extra little bit, you know where to find me. :)
