*wail* it's still on tivo - it was postponed for us (due to baseball) and i was too tired to stay up that late, so i tivoed it. after cbunnell's GAH! i was tempted to watch it before work this morning, but no, i'm being GOOD and waiting for bubblebabble.
mind you, though, there's quite the curl down the middle of my forehead today, so don't be surprised if i don't wait for him much longer.
I take it that you're not too keen on insane preachers? Or was it the burn/eyeball/general gore-level thing.
I, for one, screech with ickiness whenever I hear a bone cracking noise (damned foley!) and I don't even want to embarass myself by describing my reaction to what happened to Xander....
people" who smile while they're about to kill you.
Ahh, yes, very true. A handy trick for us LARPers who happily pinch from all useful sources.
I found the best way to creep out my fellow players whilst playing my favorite pyschotic character is to discuss something really awful (y'know, dismembering their loved ones, dismembering them, etc) whilst thinking about wickedly hot sex. It takes a bit of concentration, but the resultant vibe that is sent to the other players always makes their skin crawl. It's great. :)
Unfortunately, I let the cat out of the bag after a plaintive "How'd you do that?" was asked of me, and now the players aren't *nearly* as impressed, dammit. :)
Amanda spent most of the episode clutching me with all her might, and significant parts of it with her eyes squeezed shut. So, what was that again about this season being lackluster?
Afterwards, we watched the Season 5 episode where Buffy first meets Glory (and learns who Dawn really is). Caleb rather reminds me of Glory, power-wise. Eep.
