Some days, nothing quite does it but Campbell's vegetable soup (*alphabets*!) and garlic toast. It wasn't a bad day (except for feeling as though I'm not a very good listener-friend when my friend called me during lunch with a difficult drama going on in her life), but some days do just cry out for comfort food. Liverwurst on Wonder Bread with mayo and yellow mustard and a slice of onion would work, too, or my mom's meat sauce, again on white bread, but, well, you know.
