You may say there is, but right now I can't imagine that there's anything better than kettle chips and good chocolate soymilk.

Watched TMBG's "Direct From Brooklyn" (a compilation of their music videos, in reverse chronological order) last night, and it was really good. I fell asleep during the second run-through with the commentary, but still, it was fun. Earworm as I type this is "Don't Let's Start," but it was "Man, It's So Loud In Here" for most of the morning.

Gonna see Rickie Lee Jones with cute-poet-chick on Wednesday. Wheeee! Having dinner with her first, which makes me happy.

I miss Veglist. At its height, it was a vegetarian discussion listserv with 350+ members. It was busy and animated and friendly. Now there are maybe a dozen members, little or no traffic, and it's difficult to subscribe, so it's not getting better. I've thought of starting my own listserv, but maybe there's already something out there that I would love. Any ideas?
