it's the little things, kinda

Like being home long enough to get the kitchen clean enough that hanging a spice rack feels like a fun task.

Silly, I know, and so much less important than other stuff in my life right now, but it made me happy.

Feel like there's stuff I don't feel comfortable posting here these days, but it's happy stuff, so that's okay. Basically, a very good day. Actually, two very good days in a row. This is a good thing. A very good thing.

(Milestones today: Cute-poet-chick's birthday -- no tears, but some longing. Also, two and a half years tonight since I met someotherguy. Also, I've been at Ikea for six weeks today, and I've started actually liking it there.)

And let me just say a huge thank you to wild_irises, who has been such a good friend to me, and continues to look out for me. I am a lucky woman.
