feeling petulant

I want to stamp my little, childish foot. I have been working five days a week. I have a date one day with stonebender, and the other day off is a Me-Day with someotherguy. This means I haven't had time for other social stuff, and I haven't seen a few good friends in way too long. And it's okay, because I'm getting money stuff squared away, etc., but I'm feeling petulant about it. I want to have *everything* I want, dammit, not just some of it.

Bah. *stamp*

home sick

I don't like calling in sick. It feels irresponsible. But then so does coughing on customers, so here I am, cleaning my kitchen, coughing, and catching up on usenet and listservs.

And considering making a new character for Kingdom of Loathing so I don't have to wait the seven hours or so until rollover. :-)

(Probably won't. I'm enjoying getting my house cleanish, and someotherguy is sweetly assembling the bookcase I bought last week with my Ikea discount, so I will have books to organize in a little bit.)

Have nothing to say about the hurricane that hasn't already been said, but I may manage to say it anyway. Not today, though. Today, I'm coughing and cleaning and resting. So be it.
