Clearly, starting several days ahead of time is the key to a peaceful
dinner party. Stuff is mostly done, I'm not too rushed or tired, and I'm
looking forward to tomorrow with joy, not dread. I'll go to sleep soon,
but right now, I'm evaporating goat's milk for a cow's-milk-free pumpkin
