If I were to start a woodpulp 'zine that focused on [edit: "focused" isn't the right word -- um, that covered] all my pet hobbyhorses -- human rights, size acceptance, progressive politics, hippychickhood, sustainable agriculture, ecology, sex, gender, simplicity, atheism/agnosticism, food porn, etc. -- who would wanna contribute? There would be pay involved, because I don't believe in writing for publication for free (and by extension, I don't believe in asking people to write for publication for free), but it would likely be small pay to start with, or a pinko-communist-cooperative share of proceeds, or perhaps something I haven't thought of yet. If it's possible, I fell more in love with loracs and wild_irises last night. (Yes, I am using "in love" to refer to my friends -- I think you know what I mean, right?) At any rate, I was not at my best around either of them last night, and they nurtured and cared for me, and I felt so very lucky.

I am so grateful for the people, books, and organizations in my life that have told me I'm beautiful and I can trust my body. They saved my life, and changed my worldview, and I wanna kiss 'em all right on the mouth. Even though books don't got mouths.
