"As the public gets more uneasy about rising gasoline prices, both parties are attempting to ease fears - sort of. Senate Republicans are proposing issuing rebate checks in the amount of $100 to millions of Americans. On the other side, Democrats want to create a 60-day suspension of federal gasoline taxes, which they say could cut prices by more than 18 cents per gallon."

The birds are loud. Steve the cat is rolling around in the sun when he's not chasing the loud birds. The weeds are as pretty as the flowers, and one particularly gorgeous one has tendrilled itself halfway across my front door. It's genuinely spring here, and I could almost die from the beauty.

Tomorrow, man, I gotta get some work done. No playing around. No LJ, no housecleaning, no nothin' until I've gotten at least one of my contract projects done (there are two -- each should take me 3-4 hours).

But for now, I'm gonna go wash some dishes, take an aspirin (headachey), and go to bed. Good night, darlings. Have a lovely Friday. If you don't see me tomorrow, it's because the grindstone took my nose right off.

Almost forgot about the bad-movie-night reviews!

Last night's bad movie fest was a first: A movie so bad that we turned it off. Those of you who watched Ed Wood's "Pretty Models All In A Row" will have a yardstick by which to measure "Cosmos: War of the Planets" or some such. Schlock, and not the good kind, but we may have been able to watch it if it hadn't been for the bizarre '70s fusion techno music *crap* that was playing.

Tonight, it was "Orgasmo". We've seen it before, but it's delicious in its yummy badness, and we're huge Trey&Matt fans anyway. I don't wanna sound like a queer or anything...

I really like my clients.

They ask after my well-being. They like my work, and are quick to say so. They trust that I will get the work done quickly and well, and they're right. Two separate clients this week told me how on the ball I am, and I'm at a place in my life where I believe them, and I think I'm as good for them as they are for me.

I just need a few more like this, and I'm golden.

Okay, off to bed with me. I have a strict midnight bedtime. Since when? Since now, silly!
