Almost forgot about the bad-movie-night reviews!

Last night's bad movie fest was a first: A movie so bad that we turned it off. Those of you who watched Ed Wood's "Pretty Models All In A Row" will have a yardstick by which to measure "Cosmos: War of the Planets" or some such. Schlock, and not the good kind, but we may have been able to watch it if it hadn't been for the bizarre '70s fusion techno music *crap* that was playing.

Tonight, it was "Orgasmo". We've seen it before, but it's delicious in its yummy badness, and we're huge Trey&Matt fans anyway. I don't wanna sound like a queer or anything...

"Orgasmo" was really hit and miss for me, but "South Park" is, too. There are moments of absolute brilliance, and moments of almost Ed Wood-like horrible filmmaking (bad dubbing, boom mikes in the shot, etc.)

Oh, yeah, that's the kind of shit that qualifies it to be in our bad-movie rotation. :-) someotherguy and I bonded over bad movies when we first met, and I love having someone to watch them with. sogwife just rolls her eyes at us and finds something else to do, most times.

Oh, I loved Orgasmo, probably because I could relate to the Mormon missionary! I'm an ex-fundie who used to be involved in campus evangelism. And I especially loved the line, "Jesus in me loves you," because I actually used to say that to people!
