ambivalence
Oct. 11th, 2006 10:16 amMy co-workers/bosses are taking me out for a farewell lunch today. They're
taking me to sushi because they know I love sushi. I think it's terribly
sweet of them -- I'm the temp, so it's not like they have to do this, but
they're darling to do it. At the same time, I'm uncomfortable being the
center of attention, and I'm uncomfortable with the whole "We're gonna
miss you!" thing when it's their decision that I'm leaving, not mine.
Oh, well. Sushi's good. :-)
