This cold is really persistent, and I'm tempted to call it the plague, what with all the blisters and stuff, but nah, it's just a cold. Wish it would go away for good, though. I need these lungs; I don't want to cough them up.

So the lovely and talented sogwife finally found a cool place to rent, and things were going great. Yesterday I was getting ready to tell her how really well this setup was working for me. And then she came home and told us that the person she was renting from has decided to move (giving 30 days' notice at the end of this month). Now she needs to look for another place to live, which sucks rocks, but hey, she did it once and she'll do it again.

So if you have leads for apartments and/or good housemate situations near me (I live in North Oakland), please give me a holler, and keep your eyes out, and stuff. Also, if you're moving and want to explore the possibility of sharing the rent on her current place with her, let me or her know. She likes the house, but she can't handle the rent without housemates.

Couldn't pass it up

There was a dollar table at Borders when I went with wtfpotatoes, and they had The New Joy of Gay Sex. I couldn't pass it up, figuring one of y'all might want it. (no subject)

I'm sitting around like a pathetic thing, and someotherguy is on a tear -- he made me breakfast (Cream of Wheat) and lunch (tuna sammiches), and he's compulsively cleaning the house. Rough life I have, huh? Right now, he's vacuuming the bedroom, but he's already swept the whole house, cleaned the bedroom, and gathered up all the laundry (which mom lent us $20 to do as soon as I'm feeling up to it -- probably tomorrow or Monday). I'm a lucky, lucky person.
