So the lovely and talented sogwife finally found a cool place to rent, and things were going great. Yesterday I was getting ready to tell her how really well this setup was working for me. And then she came home and told us that the person she was renting from has decided to move (giving 30 days' notice at the end of this month). Now she needs to look for another place to live, which sucks rocks, but hey, she did it once and she'll do it again.

So if you have leads for apartments and/or good housemate situations near me (I live in North Oakland), please give me a holler, and keep your eyes out, and stuff. Also, if you're moving and want to explore the possibility of sharing the rent on her current place with her, let me or her know. She likes the house, but she can't handle the rent without housemates.

Oh that sucks! Hope she can find a housemate so she at least doesn't have to move again. Keeping fingers crossed!

We're pretty sure she'll have to move -- she would need a few housemates to keep this place, and if any of them flaked, she'd be on the hook for more than she can afford. :-(
