My hot, glamorous poly lifestyle just oozes with sparkle and glitz. Or at least that's what we told ourselves as we were spending the night in the emergency room. Poor [livejournal.com profile] stonebender had to call an ambulance because he couldn't breathe. He had been diagnosed with pneumonia, but the x-ray showed that it wasn't. Just (or, rather, "just") a massive case of bronchitis. After a couple of hours of drugs and breathing treatments, and the easiest/fastest ER visit ever -- only five hours including more than an hour of breathing treatments -- they let him come home (they wanted to keep him overnight, but they listened to his preference).

[livejournal.com profile] loracs and I are taking turns sleeping and tending. She's got a bad cold, so I'm trying to let her sleep as much as possible. I'll sleep tonight. Or something. *yawwwwwnstretch*

The response to [livejournal.com profile] stonebender's illness was overwhelmingly sweet -- thank you all. He seems to be doing MUCH better today, but of course we thought that yesterday, so we're keeping a close eye on him. Today is our normal day together, and to be honest, it's been pretty much a normal day. Not counting all the medicines and pharmacy runs and stuff. We've just been hanging out, surfing the web together, and now we're gonna go watch some Dead Like Me or something. Life is its normal, beautiful self. The tears of relief come upon me and [livejournal.com profile] loracs still, and sometimes at the same time. I do love that woman, and I'm so glad we're all a part of the same family.

Best part of today: an hour or so with [livejournal.com profile] stonebender playing DJ for me, just scrolling through his music collection, selecting random things he thought I might like. Lovely.

Good things about today:

1) [livejournal.com profile] stonebender is breathing easier and doesn't appear to be as wiped out by this whole thing as I would be in his shoes

2) [livejournal.com profile] loracs's cold seems to be getting better

3) Messages from my Suitor while I was gone, sweetly pointed out by [livejournal.com profile] someotherguy (I left in a hurry for the ER, so my computer was left on, and he needed to use it.)

4) Shower. Shampoo. Conditioner. Clean body. YUMMMMmmmmmmm. (Yes, I could've taken a shower at [livejournal.com profile] stonebender's, but I have this terribly girly attachment to having all my stuff for my shower, and since I only had to wait one day... ;-)

5) About to go watch a movie with [livejournal.com profile] someotherguy, one of my favorite ways to lull myself to sleep.

6) I'm too tired and relieved (aka "Foolishly benevolent") to rip an acquaintance who's being a fuckwit on one of my newsgroups a new asshole.

7) Tomorrow is "[livejournal.com profile] someotherguy's birthday (Observed)". We will have pancakes for breakfast, homemade pizza for lunch, and if I have anything to say about it, lots of sex for dinner. :-)

Have a wonderful Sunday, y'all.

While I'm thinking of it (may not think of it tomorrow), Monday is Craft Night. Munchies and crafting and schmoozing. I have hemp cord for bracelets. I have paints and modeling clay. Bring anything you want to work on, or just bring yourself. If you need directions, let me know. (Time is 6pm until folks go home, which is usually around 10.)

[livejournal.com profile] someotherguy loves me so much. He's going out at 11pm to get me some food. (There's food in the house, but nothing I feel like having, and I'm completely out of cooking energy.) I am a lucky person.

grilled cheese sandwich made by someone who loves you + glass of buttermilk = bliss

(note: this would not equal bliss if the someone who loves you hadn't wisely also remembered to give you a lactase pill)
