ooops!

I like making corn bread & other things in my cast-iron skillet in the oven. I don't like forgetting the handle has just been in a 400-degree oven for a half hour. *sigh* Typing with one hand is a drag.

stonebender is back in the ER. It's not as bad as Friday, but the steroids and antibiotics didn't clear up his lungs, and they may admit him. More as I find it out. loracs is with him, and if he's still there in a few hours, I will head out there.

More stonebender update

Between yesterday's x-ray and now, stonebender did develop pneumonia. They're keeping him in the hospital for 2 or 3 days to try to wipe this thing out. If I'm normally in touch with you and I go kind of gone for a while, it's nothing personal. (And if you're my Suitor, you have my cellphone number, which I'll have on vibrate in the hospital, in clear violation of the posted rules. ;-)

I do not tend to freak out in a medical crisis; I tend to just go see what I can do. I'll freak out when it's over. For now, gotta get ready for a few days of round-the-clock coverage.

Oh, and I'll program voice-posting so I can give updates from the hospital; that's a good idea.
