So if you were trying to choose between bringing me soup and company Friday and going to game night, now you don't have to. ;-)
First of all, I'm calling off this Friday's regularly scheduled Game Night. I'm just so not over the Hallowe'en Party yet, it isn't even funny.
Second, due to the impending advent of a (hopefully) regular 4th Fridays event I have some interest in, I'm moving Game Night to 1st and 3rd Fridays.
So, the next Game Night will be not this Friday, the 9th, but next Friday, the 16th.
Hope you can make it!

wild_irises is a really good cook and an even better conversationalist. And oh, the things she can do with knots in the bedroom. Oh, my. :-)
Quick notes
Nov. 6th, 2007 10:23 amLots to do today, but two quick things:
1) I'm not getting comments in email today, but I'm loving the recent-comments tool that I always use in such situations
2) From an IM with
stonebender:
[Note: I quit meat and dairy and introduced more veggies on Halloween (though I've had one dairy meal since then, and it was *amazing*), and in a week, my blood-pressure is back where it's been most of my life. That is, somewhere under normal.]

Serene says (10:21 AM): I'm doing okay. Good news is my highest blood-pressure reading in two days was 120/81
Guy says (10:21 AM): Very cool!
Serene says (10:22 AM): I guess meat is good for some people but not for me. I quit it and suddenly my body goes "Ahh, that's better." :-)

Drat you,
hitchhiker. And I'm writing longhand, so I can't even do a search-and-replace. :-)
(Exceptionally social couple of days. I got to see some super-great people, so I'm happy, but my crappy novel suffered for it. Oh, woe is me. :-)
If I don't have 12,000 words by the 6th, I have to go through what I *did* write and add apostrophes to all the plurals. I don't get to change them back until NaNo is done.
