Yay, valentines!

Thank you, everyone who took the time to shoot me a valentine. It was a really neat way to wake up.

Thank you, someotherguy, for the boots and the shoes and the five years of crazy love.

Thank you, stonebender, for the joy and the silliness and the way you get happy when I'm around.

Thank you, sogwife, loracs, and dbubley, for being my family.

The burrito project is on

Come help if you want, or just have lunch with us and our neighbors at noon.

Date: March 8 (and 2nd Saturdays thereafter)
Time: Prep begins at 8am; Lunch is served at noon
Where: Prep is at my house in North Oakland; Lunch is at the park across the street -- email serene@serenepages.org for directions

If you want to help, you can either come and cook/serve with us, or you can donate stuff we need:

beans
rice
canned tomatoes
spices (garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt)
onions
cheese (any kind)
hot cups with lids (for soup)
bottled water
juice boxes
fruits or vegetables (fresh, frozen, or canned)
money (paypal link below): your money will ONLY be used to help feed my neighbors. I will not take a cut or use the money for utensils, etc. Only food. You can't get a tax deduction for this, but I will keep the finances of this transparent -- I'll post what I spend/receive, and keep receipts.
