So remember the way-coolness that was sogwife's Baconhenge? Well, so far, it hit slashfood and the LA Times blog, and tomorrow morning, sogwife's gonna be on NP-fucking-R to talk about it. How cool is THAT?

I've never cooked this much chicken in my life. The packages I thought had six thighs each had eight, and likewise sixteen/twenty-plus. I think I've got something like sixty chicken thighs here. I sure hope everyone's hungry. May be up frying chicken all night. :-)

Started peeling the peaches for the fresh-peach ice cream. Also planning on making at least a batch of chocolate, and probably some vanilla and green tea, but we'll see. Potato salad and macaroni salad will have to wait until the morning.
