My boss really wants Project X done by tomorrow morning.

Tuesday is my day off.

I came in on Tuesday to get Project X done.

I spent half of Tuesday fighting with the copy machine, and the other half fighting with a co-worker.

No good deed goes unpunished. (I don't really believe that, but I've been here 10 hours and will probably be here a couple more, and I'm feeling pissy.)

I did it twice this month; forgot about my anniversary until it was either over or almost. Eight years with two very indulgent men who really love me must have turned my brain to mush.

Eight years ago this afternoon, I was arguing with cute-poet-chick about whether my meeting with james_huber that night was a date. It really wasn't, as far as I was concerned, but by the end of the night, we were definitely dating. Life happens like that sometimes. Lucky me.
