Terra Yukon Gold Salt & Pepper chips.

Pure peppery potato goodness is all I'm sayin'.

Hm. That might even make me rethink my general "yuck" stance on potato chips.

I adore potato chips, and will even eat ones I don't particularly love, but these are so, umm, *interesting*. In a good way.

Mmmmm, I *love* those! Got a bag sitting on my coffee table even as we speak. Now I wish I was home eating them instead of sitting at work talking about them.

I recommend you take a potato-chip break and go home. But maybe I'm projecting.

Dull day at work today.

Ooooh, must try these. Must find some first. (Here in the outlands, new products take their own sweet time coming to market. I have yet to find a reliable source of ginger Altoids, for instance).

I adore their taro chips, and wish I could find them more often (they seem to be seasonal; certainly the "Potpourri" Chips, which sometimes include taro and sometimes don't, are). And the little stix things are a pretty nifty variant on shoestring potatoes, too.

Ooooh, ginger Altoids? (I love the original and the wintergreen, but hate the spearmint(?) ones I just bought. Can't do wintergreeny stuff around [livejournal.com profile] stonebender, though, because then I taste like a hospital to him. Ginger would be fun.

I know they're available in parts of California - my own stash came to me via San Francisco. Try Trader Joe's. They're fabulous - truly gingery.

Actually, that was the best part. They were $2.50, but I had a $.75 coupon that doubled, so I only paid a dollar for them. :-)
