Day Four of the Bar Exam came to an end today. Two more days, and I'm free. The last two days should be lots more fun than the first four because:

a) I am not feeling like freeze-dried shit on a shellacked cracker, as I was for most of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Now I feel merely really bad, not utterly shitty

b) The first four days are essay-exam days, so I read him the question, and he goes and writes for hours on end, while I sit and wait. Without anything to do. No book. No paper/pen. Nothing but a bottle of water and my thoughts, which if I weren't so ill would probably be enough to keep me from nodding off, but no such luck. I have slept most of the last four workdays away, if you want the truth.

c) It's the weekend and one presumes the BART won't be very crowded (I stopped driving in after the first day, when I got so woozy in the car that I was afraid I was about to have a stroke and crash the car. My life is all glamor all the time, I tell ya.)


This weekend:

1) Bar Exam Stuff
2) Pay magazine contributors
3) Put finishing touches on magazine layout and send it to the printer
4) Try to find time to sleep
