I'm sure many things have contributed to this*, but today is a glorious day. The birds are singing (literally, they really are!), I've already fixed the subscription page that's been wrong for a while, and there are home fries cooking on the stove. someotherguy has his coffee, bacon's ready, and next up is to attack my to-do list, but I feel no anxiety about it at all.

I am really grateful to those of you who offered me love and advice the last few days. It was rough going, and it may be rough again, but right now, I feel good, and I wanted to share that with you.




* dermatology success (I HATE feeling like my skin is not clean); day off yesterday in which I got time with stonebender, Thai food, free books (thanks, tenacious_snail!), and a movie with lots of explosions; a dinner of junk food and bad movies; good sex; enough sleep; love from friends; no longer feeling sick; finally deciding what to do about the magazine; etc.
