Nabbed from [livejournal.com profile] wild_irises:

1. What did you last read?
Most of The Blue Nowhere, by Jeffery Deaver (before I misplaced it)

2. What are you reading now?
I started Deaver's A Maiden's Grave, but it's a children-in-peril thing, so I will probably put it down and not finish it.

3. What do you plan to read next?
Plan? I dunno. I usually scan the bookshelves (or the library catalog) for something that looks interesting at the time.

4. What would you like to read, but don't have?
Can't think of anything. I have a really good library.

5. What would you recommend for others to read?
Depends on the person.

6. What's your favourite book from childhood?
I bought every Nancy Drew published before 1980.

7. What book last made you laugh?
Lies and the Lying Liars who Tell Them

8. What book last made you weep?
I reread The Color Purple

9. What book last made you angry?
See #7

The OH looked up Al Franken's book in the local county library system. They have 70 copies altogether, and 89 holds on them.

Wow! We own it, but [livejournal.com profile] stonebender is borrowing it. You're free to borrow it next, if you like.

I kept laughing out loud in public while reading that one. I had to remember not to read it anywhere that silence was expected.
