I am taking a sick day.



I had a mouth thing that turned into what I can only describe as a "face infection" -- sore to the touch on the whole left side of my face, low-grade fever, etc. -- and I think I'm successfully fighting it with sleep and mouthwash [edit: and my favorite anti-inflammatory, aspirin]. If not, I'll go to the doctor tomorrow (or today, if it gets worse instead of better).


Meanwhile, I will work on the magazine and go through bags of clutter. May just call the whole weekend a wash. I really feel the need to rest.

What are your weekend plans?

I have work tonight&tomorrow night. 6pm-9am tonight, 5pm-9am Saturday night. I also might be meeting the professor I TA for this afternoon, if she doesn't cancel on me. Saturday during the day, if I am not sleeping all day, I'm planning to clean. Ditto Sunday. I'm hoping I meet my professor today, and she's willing to pay me today instead of Monday, so I can order the new laptop I desperately want.
