Life as she is lived
Aug. 25th, 2009 06:12 pmBecause this is my life, and my life is, in general, a happy and fulfilled one, I am able to assure myself that the suckitude of today will not persist. I'm even able to see the parts of the day that were not sucky: Lunch with Danny and a friend of his, in which we trashed the ableist patriarchy and discussed the religious beginnings of UC Berkeley; work that I love and that feels important to me, even when the actual task I'm doing is photocopying; two partners who really fucking adore me, and let me know it all the time; friends who let me weep on them when I just don't feel like I want to weep on my partners again; and did I mention what wonderful partners I have?
Speaking of partners, while I was composing this post, one of those wonderful partners spilled the beans on one of the pieces of suckitude. Anyone know of any openings for a really smart programmer who knows like a bajillion languages, including a couple he wrote himself?
