Sonoma County Fair -- Fun. Small. A great place to hold hands and smooch with your partners. Source of corndoggy goodness and lovely trashy spaghetti.

More mobility in store -- We are going to try to move [livejournal.com profile] sogwife closer to us in the very near future. She will not be living with us, but as near to us as we can manage. Most of my energy and money will go into this project for the foreseeable future, so do not be surprised if I become a hermit for a while.

Mom and Munchkin The Younger visited last weekend. So good to see them. So hard to let them leave. Does anyone know of a place I can play Gin and/or Pitch with mom online?

Just when I was thinking about trying to arrange a visit. That might be excessively difficult on this end anyway, but I do need a vacation, and there's currently a fare of CAD 240, plus fees and taxes, to SFO, which is not the best we've ever seen, but could be doable, and nothing ventured, nothing gained, and I'm going to end this run-on sentence now.

No, if you can swing it, we should do it! I'll manage. I really want to see you.

It's a big if, but I'll see what I can do. Shall we take this to email now, talk about possible dates and stuff?

Sure! I'm at work, and can email right now, but if I drop off for an hour or more, don't panic; it just means the rats wanted me to work for my pay. ;-)

Sad now! I haven't even gotten to see you since you moved up here, & now you're going to be busier?

Well, I'm glad it's such a nice project, but I think I may still drive up to your place & take you out to lunch at some point when I get back. If that's ok with you, of course.

Okay? Okay?!?

I'd love to see you. I will just be scheduling a lot less stuff, and buying even LESS stuff. Lunch with a friend is always doable, even if it means she comes over and lets me cook for her.

Congrats on the planned move! That's exciting news.

Curious: does impending hermithood affect your plans to attend the poly flock this weekend? I'm planning to be there tomorrow evening, at least, and I'm ever so much looking forward to making your acquaintance face-to-face. If it'd make a difference, I'd happily treat you to a meal or something...

Oh, we're already all paid up for the polyflock, and as far as I know, we're going all three days. Hope to see you there!
