Good stuff: I'm achy but fine, and the doctor agrees (occasionally feeling fragile, but not freaked out or anything). No one was injured badly. There were no pedestrians in the intersection. My partners have been taking very very good care of me. Munchkin the Elder was very sweet (though disappointed) about my not going down today. The thought of going carless (especially car-payment-less) is something appealing.

Annoyances, minor: I can't seem to get my newsreader to post, though reading is fine. It hurts/tires me a bit to type. Finding a comfy position is a little difficult. I had nine payments left on the car, and just yesterday I paid the car payment *and* put thirty dollars' worth of gas in it. :-)

Gosh, life could really be worse.

By the way, we were walking home from Walgreen's just now, and a car ran the *very* light that I believe the woman who hit me ran. I shouldn't have, but I felt a little vindicated. (While in my recollection, I had the green, I know very well that it could have been *my* error that caused this accident -- after all, don't most people who run reds think they had the green? -- but that possibility is the one thing in all this that is truly bothering me, so I sure hope it's found that I didn't do it. If I did, I will cope, but I am really most stressed about that aspect of it all.)

You're the second friend on my friends list that has been hit by a car! I'm glad to read that you weren't badly hurt and are being cared for!
