Alameda County (SF Bay) Poly Meetup November 9th

I have, at least temporarily, agreed to herd cats for the Alameda County Poly Meetup.

Thing is, these particular cats don't seem all that eager to be herded, so why should I have dinner alone? I am encouraging all my friends, and hey, why not my enemies, too, to come and have dinner/drinks/conversation with me at a decent Thai place near my house, and then those who want can come to my place and have toffee (my own, homemade!) and/or coffee (probably made by someotherguy) until the cows decide to come home. If I know you, you can even crash at my place for the night. Hell, I'll even cook you breakfast. Such a deal.

Yup, I'm fully transplanted, and I realized it when the car was demolished -- part of why we didn't sell the car before we moved up here was because I wanted to be free to leave if I didn't like it here. Now? I don't need no steenking car.
