misia: If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNoWriMo or what have you, post exactly one sentence from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favourite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre) if you like, but don't mention anything else. This is merely to whet the general appetite for your forthcoming work(s).
I like the idea of doing this without mentioning which works they are. I'm currently working on four projects:
1. "But I don't. I know this about myself, in the way I know my hair is brown, the way I know the letters of the alphabet. I must ignore the fact that a part of me thinks I should, because I just don't."
2.
3. "But I did it. I sucked, but I did it, and really, if you want to feel your work in your solar plexus, I urge you to do it, too."
4. "It doesn't kill you, but it makes you want to kill die cry sometimes. Makes you want to roll up in a little ball and stop. If you can do that, if you can stop caring, perhaps you should. If you're like me, you may wish you could. We probably can't, though, so maybe we should do it together, on the theory that a burden shared is a burden lightened. I'm game if you are."

"and the drops diverge,
each creating its own surface tension
tiny satellite droplets around a new planet
a new inkling of my desire"
