I have wanted to join Netflix since I went from having a movie-loving live-in partner to one who couldn't care less about most movies. However, I couldn't afford it. (Understatement alert:) Money has been pretty rough for the last year or so.

Now my financial situation has turned on its head -- new job, less money, but fewer bills because the car was demolished and the new job will have benefits. At any rate, I have a tiny bit of wiggle room. Not a lot, but enough that I can rent a few movies. Okay, a ton of movies. The size of my Netflix queue is astounding. I watched The L Word with [livejournal.com profile] sogwife (well, most of an episode, anyway. *blush*), and now I'm heading off to see Bullshit and maybe Kill Bill. I don't watch much TV/movies, and don't really want to, but now and then there's a night like tonight, when the weather is cold, we're sniffly and possibly catching colds, and nothing sounds much better than curling up in bed and watching Penn & Teller. Y'know?

Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep fightin' those viruses...

We've just joined the local movie rental club, and I finally got to see Scooby Doo last night. OK, it was fun over beers for someone who loved the show as a kid (for the food jokes! :-)

Netflix rocks!

Of course I just had to cancel my membership with like a zillion movies in queue but without a permanent address, there isn't much point. heh. I felt so bad cancelling though, they keep asking questions like a dumped girlfriend, "Was it something I did? What could I do to keep you?" But there's no button to click that says, "No, you're great. It's me. I'm a loner and a rebel. I've got to ramble on." Which is true. If I had a job and or a place to live I never would've quit.

Very nice

I signed up for Netflix a few months ago when I finally had abit of extra cash. I enjoy it very much. The only down side is never knowing which three movies when kinda thing but it is nice.
Enjoy!
