At the risk of name-dropping, I wanted to say how lovely it was to have rampling, fannyfiga, 7patches, eeyore_grrl, the_ogre, dryadgrl & C, lysana, blackfyr, sogwife and someotherguy around the table, talking/laughing/geeking.

I may write more about this day tomorrow, both from a foodie standpoint and a social-animal standpoint, but let's say that T-day (and crashing wild_irises and alanbostick's post-party (meeting in the process nadinelet and imnotandrei -- as well as two lovely people who may or may not have LJs) was really really good.

And someotherguy was AMAZING, doing a good chunk of the food prep and most of the dishes. I am long-day tired, not big-huge-party-that-I-had-to-do-by-myself exhausted. YAY.
