Dec. 6th, 2004 07:27 amA couple of weeks ago, I bought a really cool pottery bowl at Studio One's art sale. I planned to use it as a bowl for letting bread dough rise. It got broken before I could do that, though, and I was bummed.
Saturday, we were walking to the Berkeley Bowl when we saw signs for an open pottery studio. I went in and saw the bowl of my dreams. It was more than I've ever paid for a dish in my life ($35), but it's perfect.

Date: 2004-12-07 07:29 am (UTC)I often say that I cannot be a proper hippychick because: (a) I can't grow things; (b) I hate herbal tea; and (c) I have yet to make a really good loaf of bread. Here's hoping that continuing to try and to acquire high-quality tools for the job will do some good.
