Ways, if you are me, to feel better when you're blue:

1) Spend an hour or so chatting with someone who loves you and makes you laugh. (Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] stonebender!)

2) Have the following email exchange with someones else who love you (Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] someotherguy and [livejournal.com profile] sogwife!):

>Thanks for the snuggles.  I'm tempted to make a
>new personal rule wherein we are never allowed
>to be apart ever again, but I know it
>wouldn't work.  Dammit.

Probably not, but we can try

>Okay, you two, tell me you love me. :-)

I love yoooooooooooooooooooou

[livejournal.com profile] sogwife says she loves you too ( from her comfy nest in the bed )

3) Eat a really lot (no, really, a REALLY lot) of pudding and yogurt. (Dairy is comfort food for me. It really works. Let me say "really" a few more times. Really, really, really.)

4) Open the door at midnight to a Munchkin who was just missing you and jumps at the chance to go back to zir place to get you some trashy murder mystery books to read.

5) No, really, a LOT of pudding and yogurt.

Yay for trashy murder mystery books! I have lots and wanted to get some to you, but the teleporter is broken, so I'm glad Munchkin got you some.

Pudding. Mmmmmmmmmmmm, pudding. Pudding pudding pudding pudding pudding.

Pudding is the second-most-perfect comfort food (soup is first, preferably soup with lots of milk in it). And thanks for being so sweet to me. *smooch*

Oh, dear. Unsolicited advice: go much, much earlier than you normally would.

Nope. Somehow, none of it's made me sick (I suspect there's something in processed pudding that neutralizes whatever does it to me in milk, and yogurt's never been too bad for me -- then again, maybe it's a Christmas Miracle. ;-)
