1. Christmas is celebrated by many people in many different ways. What does Christmas mean to you?
Honestly, not a whole lot. I like the lights and stuff. I like any excuse to buy presents. I like getting gifts, too. That said, I don't really care about xmas. I tell the people close to me that I'd much rather have a little fuss made over me at my birthday than make a big deal out of xmas.
2. Have you or do you attend a religious service on Christmas Eve or Christmas? Why?
Used to, when church was either required by my mother (ages 0-12 or so) or my entire social life (ages 16-23). Don't any more.
3. It’s a Wonderful Life, Rudolph, Frosty, Home Alone? What is your favorite holiday film?
I watched Santa Claus Conquers the Martians the other day and liked it. ;-) I like It's A Wonderful Life a lot. I like Christmas Story (is that the one where he wants a bb gun?) a really lot. I also like the specials I saw when I was little: Charlie Brown, etc. The Grinch is another favorite.
4. Which is better; the giving, or the getting?
The giving is more fun and comfortable for me, but as I've gotten older, I've learned the beauty of being a gracious receiver.
5. When you were little, what was something you asked Santa for, but now may make you chuckle?
I cannot think of a single thing I asked Santa for. I mean, I asked, I just don't remember what any of it was. There may be a lesson in there. Maybe not.
