Because no matter how tough it is being here, it's still really sweet that people showered me with gifts; and because gifts cheered me up even though I'm still a major stress puppy; and because y'all don't deserve to hear my whining without my gratitude in close proximity: I will now proceed to list my xmas presents for you.

Munchkin The Younger is coming up to spend the night. Zie got a portable DVD player, and I said I'd watch Spiderman 2 with zir until I zonk out.

Transparent playing cards sound awesome, yet useless. *) Or are they somehow only transparent in one direction? Perhaps only to be used for solitaire?

There's a panel of non-transparency in the middle, and ones at the corners, but the rest is transparent plastic. Cute-poet-chick gave them to my mom, I think. We repurpose gifts all the time. :-)
