sereneGoing to my brother's house in about an hour, to have what will probably be a peaceful dinner -- his eight and my baby brother's three kids are less rambunctious than just my two munchkins, any day of the week. Coming up Chez Serene:
New Year's Eve: Laid-back evening at home, to which all are welcome. Crash space available; BYOB.
Jan 7th: Craft night and White Elephant Swap. Bring anything you don't need from xmas or whatever; take away stuff you want. Any extras will be donated. We do *not* do the competitive game where you get to steal other people's stuff -- we just take turns picking stuff 'til all the stuff is gone or people don't want anything any more. For that reason, don't bother wrapping the White Elephants.
Jan 14th: Game night. We will have more seating and table space this time, enough that if folks want to, we can split up and play more than one game at a time (we have games for fewer people than showed last time, but we couldn't all play them together).
