Pound-for-Pound Toffee Party (North Oakland)

What: Pound-for-Pound Toffee Party

Bring a pound of one of the following, and take home a pound of homemade toffee!

chocolate chips (any kind)
chopped nuts (any kind)
butter (real, salted)

I will either teach you to make it or make it for you, as you please. There will be other snacks and drinks available.

if you're not able to bring a pound of stuff for any reason, you can help with setup or cleanup in exchange for your pound of toffee, or you can pay me for it, but you'll need to let me know ahead of time so I buy enough stuff. We can make three batches of toffee at a time -- if there's time, we can make second batches, which you can get for another pound of stuff or $10 a pound if I provide all the stuff.

such a fantastic idea for a party. i will be at dinner then boggle/dictionary with a smaller group, or i would consider it, especialy to see darlingest serene! :-)
